Meet the Author
Jon Haney is a children’s book author and fiction writer. You can find him telling stories to his four kids at bedtime, camping on the balcony, or playing chess in the park.
Jon grew up in Northeast Georgia, close to the Appalachian Mountains. As a kid, he loved reading. Book series such as The Boxcar Children, The Hardy Boys, and Redwall captivated him at an early age, and now Jon reads these same books to his own children. His favorite book of all time is Tom’s Midnight Garden by Philippa Pearce.
For several years, Jon also worked as a middle school teacher, where he shared his love of reading and writing with students. Together, he and his classes devoured new and old books alike. During that time, Jon discovered great books like The Wednesday Wars by Gary Schmidt, From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler by E. L. Konigsberg, and Island of the Blue Dolphins by Scott O’Dell.
Jon hopes you have a great time reading the PB&J series. See you around, readers!
